Sweet Point peppers are striking because of their shape. In contrast to the well-known bell pepper, this variant is elongated and pointed. It tastes different too. As the name suggests, this vegetable is exceptionally sweet. This is because Sweet Point peppers have a brix value of 9-10, while regular peppers only have a brix value of around 7.
Sweet Point peppers have a firm but thin wall and barely have a seed membrane. That makes this variant easy to clean and prepare. Sweet Point peppers are high in fibre, vegetable protein and vitamins E and B. Sweet Point peppers contain just 27 kcals per 100 grams.
Storage temperature:
Store Sweet Point peppers in a cool place, but do not refrigerate. The ideal storage temperature ranges from 12 to 15 degrees Celsius.
